Judith, 33-year old, is a married entrepreneur who lives in Tinac-laan, Clarin. She is earning income from her transport service business, which she started almost 8 years ago. She earn PHP 7,000 a month.
To improve business, Judith borrowed an amount of PHP 15,000 from GDMPC micro credit, which she just joined recently, to obtain accessories and tires. She’s hopeful of the possibility of expanding her business before long.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
