Jerson is married and has three children. Jerson is 50 years old and he lives in the Philippines.
To earn a living, Jerson operates a service-based business, providing transportation services to local community members. He has been doing this for eight years and every month he earns 3,000 PHP from this work. He has requested a loan of 5,000 PHP in order to repair his existing vehicle to provide better service.
Jerson is a new member of GDMPC. In the future, Jerson hopes to enable his children to complete their studies and to double the income he earns from his business.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
