Chanry is aged 28 years and married with two children. Her family lives in a rural area of the Kandal Steong district of Kandal province, Cambodia. Chanry and her husband have been working as a paid garment workers for several years to support the family. Together, they are able to earn about US $6 per day and manage to save about US $3 each day after daily expenses.

Now she is requesting a loan of US $700 to buy renovate her old kitchen and use a portion of it to buy household supplies. She hopes this loan will enable her to improve her standard of living and keep her child in school.
