Tha is 33 years old. She is married and resides with her husband in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been working in a garment factory for more than five years, earning approximately $3 daily. Her husband is a motor taxi driver who makes an income of $5 per day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Tha requests a loan of $400 to purchase rice to resell for a profitable price. By doing so, she would earn more income for the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business.
