Chanthy is 47 years old. She is married and resides with four children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia.
She has been selling snails for more than a year, earning approximately $3 daily. Her husband runs a business of purchasing cattle to resell. He makes an income of $5 per day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Chanthy requests a loan of $1,200 to purchase more cattle to resell. By doing so, they would earn more income for the family.
In the future, she would like to expand the business and help her children earn higher educations. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
