Lecene
Lecene lives in the town of Port Salut, in the South Department of Haiti. He has had a store for 14 years that sells cell phone credit and motorcycle and bicycle parts. He has one employee in his store. He has recently decided to start selling EarthSpark clean energy products to expand his current business and hopefully be able to employ more staff.

With a Kiva loan, Lecene will be set up with a “Business in a Bag”, a kit containing a personalized mix of small-scale clean energy products, marketing materials and training on energy literacy, SMS tracking of sales, and basic business skills. Lecene would like to sell solar energy desk lamps with mobile phone charging capability. He wants to sell clean energy products because he likes business and the local population really likes EarthSpark products.
