Hrant
Hrant is 23 years old and was born in one of Vanadzor’s villages. He is a student at Yerevan State Pedagogical University in the sport department. Hrant's parents are jobless and unable to pay for his education. This is Hrant's primary motivation for going into business. For almost a year, Hrant has run a successful business. After he finishes his education, he wants to combine his business activity with his main specialty in sport.

Hrant smokes and sells fish to earn a living. He is taking his first steps in business, and he wants to combine his enterprise with studying. Hrant processes fish in the cellar of his own house in Stepanavan City. He buys fresh fish from Vanadzor’s wholesale markets and sells the finished product in Stepanavan's food shops and markets. He already has a lot of clients in Stepanavan City and some smoked fish demand from Vanadzor City. That's why he decided to increase his smoked fish production.

Hrant asks for 400,000 AMD from Kiva lenders to increase his smoked fish production. He hopes to earn a good profit during the big Christmas holiday sales season.
