Mean is 30 years old. She is married and resides with one child in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She has been running a business purchasing rice to resell for more than two years, earning approximately $4 daily. Her husband is a policeman who earns about $8 per day.
In order to improve her family’s economic situation, Mean requests a loan of $1000 to purchase more rice to resell. This loan will help her increase her stock and earn more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her child earn a bachelor’s degree.
