Sot is 47 years old. She is married and resides with two children in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. She has been selling groceries for more than five years, earning approximately $5 daily. Her husband is a rice farmer who earns about $2 each day. One of her children is a construction worker. He earns about $3 per day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Sot is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase more groceries to resell. By doing so, she would earn more income to financially support the family.
In the future, she would like to expand her store and help her youngest child earn a higher education. Also, she wants to build a new house as soon as possible.
