Gude lives in the town of Tiribe in the Mombasa region of Kenya. He is married and has two children, who are still in school. For the past three years, Gude has been working hard to manage his hardware store, which sells cement and bricks.
To help expand his business, Gude has requested a loan from Yehu Microfinance. The loan will be used to add on capital and buy more hardware items such as cement and bricks, and will help Gude to generate greater profits and expand his business into a big hardware shop.
Gude hopes that in the future he will be able to start another hardware store.
