La Divina Misericordia is the name of a small group of 4 entrepreneurial women who have been engaged for a few years now in economic activities in order to earn a little extra money so as to give their families a better quality of life.
Dona Trinidad, is 41 years old; she is single and only attended elementary school. From a very young age, she says her mother advised her to learn a trade that would be helpful to her in the future. Therefore, she learnt to weave and currently works selling woven blouses and shoes. She is happy, as her craft has enabled her to have a better quality of life.
She has been involved in this activity for 8 years and during this time has gained good clients. Since people know about her, she doesn't have to go out to offer her handicraft; instead, her clients visit her, to choose their designs and order blouses. Trinidad will invest this loan to purchase an assortment of thread, yarn, needles and ribbon to use for her craft. She hopes to grow her sales in the future and to gain new clients, in order to increase her earnings and for small home improvements.
This group wishes to thank VisionFund for the help it has offered them with this loan. The other members of the group are : Denise, who sells laminated gold items, Martha who sells clothes and Domitilla who sells refreshments.
