She’s able to feed her children thanks to her business and she’s already asked ODEF for several loans. The one she’s requesting now is her 6th and it’s for 5,000 Lempiras that she will use to buy chicken, green plantain, condiments and other ingredients needed to make the food; she will use part of it to buy clothes to sell in order to earn additional income. Her goal is to provide schooling for her children and to have her own house.

Norma, tiene 36 años de edad, es madre soltera, tiene dos hijos y vive en una aldea que pertenece al municipio de Tela, Atlántida. Ella siempre se ha dedicado al comercio, anteriormente se dedicaba a la venta de embutidos, y hace un año decidió por dedicarse a la venta de comida. Elabora pollo frito con tajadas de banano verde y esta comida la vende por encargos. De este negocio ella cubre la manutención de sus hijos. ya ha solicitado varios prestamos a ODEF, el que solicita actualmente es el sexto préstamo y es por 5,000 Lempiras, con el cual va comprar carne de pollo, bananos verdes, condimentos y otros insumos para la elaboración de comida y con una parte va comprar ropa para la venta para obtener otros ingresos.
Tiene como meta darles el estudio a sus hijos y lograr tener su propia casa.
