Rakibu is a 50-year-old married man with seven children living in Kagadi, Uganda.
For four years now he has been dealing in local brew and with the income earned he has bought land and also paid school fees for his children. He is also a farmer who was inspired in this activity by the ready market for agricultural products and the low cost of production.
Unpredictable weather changes and high license fees are his major hardships, while his dream is to export the local brew and venture into modern farming methods.
Rakibu intends to use the loan to buy local brew to sell.
