The DEMBAGNOUMA group is made up of five married women, one widow, and one single; their average age is 38 years old and an average of five children. A majority of the women live in traditional families in the Massablacoura quarter in Bougouni.

They are known across the lines of neighborhood, friendship, and trade. To reinforce their financial capacity in order to better their business, they joined the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso and this will be their first loan. The group of women is in the business of selling clothing and second-hand clothing. She will buy the used clothing to be purchased with this loan, one package of clothing from the wholesalers in Bamako. She makes sales at the market and at home in cash and credit to a clientele made of men and women. She expects to make an average of 15.000FCFA which will be invested in the business activities and payback the loan.

Le groupe DEMBAGNOUMA est constitué de 5 femmes mariées, 1 veuve et 1 célibataire ayant une moyenne d’âge de 38 ans et 05 enfants. Elles vivent majoritairement dans des familles traditionnelles dans le quartier Massablacoura de la ville de Bougouni.
Elles se sont connues à travers des liens de voisinage, d’amitié et de commerce. Pour renforcer leur capacité financière afin de mieux faire leur commerce, elles adhèrent à l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso avec laquelle elles sont à leur premier prêt. Ce groupe de femmes fait le commerce des habits et de friperie.
HABY, qui est la présidente du groupe est la première femme de la droite vers la gauche. Elle fait l’achat vente de friperie et compte acheter avec son prêt, 1 colis de friperies avec les grossistes de Bamako. Elle effectue ses ventes au marché et à domicile, en détail au comptant et à crédit à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes.
Elle envisage réaliser un bénéfice mensuel moyen de 15.000FCFA qui sera investi dans les activités et rembourser le prêt.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. Kiva lenders’ funds will enable Soro Yiriwaso to expand its outreach and target even more underserved Malians involved in business and agriculture.
