Rose is a 25 year old mother who lives alone with her four year old daughter in the Coast Province in Kenya. She is described as a friendly and responsible person who enjoys her work.
She works alone as a street vendor selling clothing. She started this business when she had her daughter and it generates her only income to support, feed and educate her child. This is her third loan request to Yehu and it will be used to purchase bales of clothing for sale, because requests for these items increase during this season and she is able to earn a good income for her daughter and cover household necessities.
Rose’s dream is to have her own shop where she can sell her merchandise and improve her quality of life.
