Jennifer is 49 years old and is married with six children, two of whom are currently in school. She lives in the town of Lugazi in the Mukono region of Uganda. For the past eight years, Jennifer has been working hard to manage her boutique where she sells men's and children's clothing.

Jennifer is requesting a 2,000,000 UGX loan from BRAC Uganda to buy more clothes to stock her shop. Her loan will help to generate greater profits, boost her business, and increase her family's income. In the future, Jennifer hopes that she will be able to live a good life that is free from poverty.

Jennifer is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Jennifer who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
