Victor Rodrigo
Víctor, 32, is a farmer. He is married and lives in Solalá. He has five children, four sons and one daughter. Four of his children study at a local school and help him in the fields during their free time. He works in agriculture, cultivating onions, green onions, and mint in plots that are a few meters from his home. He learned this trade from his father, because he did not have the opportunity to study in the local school. Farming was his first job.

He has been working his own harvest for seven years. He has earned good money growing these vegetables and legumes this way. He is applying for a loan of Q 6,000.00 so that he can buy onion seeds and fertilizer, to later cultivate and harvest. He will increase his income and improve his quality of life along with that of his family. He will expand his crop. His dream is to have a plot big enough to be able to share it with his children, and that they can, in the future, build their own homes.
