Emmanuel is a rice farmer. He belongs to the joint-liability association called Twitezimbere Bahinzi /kzr Group. He is married and is 35 years old. Emmanuel has four children, the eldest of whom is 12 years old and the youngest of whom is nine. Two of his children currently attend school. He has no additional dependents other than his four children. He was born in Rwanda and has had five years of primary education.

Emmanuel began working with ACB Ltd in 2012 and is on his second loan cycle. His first loan has been fully repaid. With his present loan, Emmanuel plans to purchase 80 kilos of chemical fertilizers, and to pay for the labor required to work his rice field. As he does not expect to have any problems with repayment, Emmanuel's planning strategy is to cultivate in a timely manner, and to use good quality seeds. This will maximize his agricultural yields. His ambition is to become the largest rice grower in the region. For his family, Emmanuel plans to educate his children to the university level.

Emmanuel est l’agriculteur du riz. Il fait partie du groupe solidaire appelé TWITEZIMBERE BAHINZI /KZR. Il est marié et a 35 ans. Il a 4 enfants dont le plus âgé a 12 ans et le moins âgé a 9 ans. Deux de ses enfants vont à l’école. Il n’a aucune autre personne en sa charge. Il est né au Rwanda et a 5 ans de l’école primaire.
Il a commencé de collaborer avec ACB Ltd en 2012 et il est au deuxième cycle crédit. Le premier crédit est remboursé sans retard.
Avec le présent crédit, il va acheter 80 kilos des engrais chimiques et la partie restant paiera la main d’œuvre.
N’attendant aucune difficulté de non remboursement, Monsieur Emmanuel envisage la stratégie de cultiver à temps en utilisant les bonnes semences. Ceci accroitra son activité agricole.
Son ambition est de devenir le grand cultivateur du riz dans la région. Pour sa famille, il va éduquer les enfants jusqu’au niveau universitaire.
