Philip is 42 years old and married with four children, all of whom attend school. He is from Litein town in the south rift in Kenya. For the past 16 years, Philip has been a small-scale farmer, producing tea and milk which he sells at the local market. He also operates a food kiosk in the same town. Philip's business challenges include diseases and insufficient dairy fodder which affect his production.
Philip is requesting a 55,000 KES loan to construct a green house. His loan will improve his production and increase his income to meet his basic needs. Philip also plans to expand his farming business by acquiring quality dairy cows to increase his milk production and earn him more income.
