Lan was born in 1939. She has six children who are married. Her husband is dead. Lan sells bamboo to earn a living. She gets 3,000,000 Vietnamese dong (VND) a month from it. Her family’s total earnings are about 8,000,000 VND per month.
She has participated in SEDA's credit program since 2007. In the last cycle, she borrowed 9,632,000 VND and repaid the loan on time. In this loan cycle, she would like to borrow 9,632,000 VND to buy more bamboo to sell.
