Issifou was born around 1969 in Gningoni. He is the father of five children and he lives in a nuclear family in Kadiolo (third administrative region of the Republic of Mali).

He has been selling grains for the past four years. Thanks to his experience in this field, he enjoys a good reputation as a seller and he receives orders for grains, particularly maize. In order to have the necessary resources to satisfy his customers' needs, Issifou decided to collaborate with the micro-finance institution Soro Yiriwaso. This is his fifth loan, and all previous loans have been duly repaid.

This loan will help him to buy two tonnes of maize and one tonne of millet. He buys grains from villages around Kadiolo and stores his merchandise before reselling it for cash. His customer base consists of men and women who come from major cities such as Sikasso, Bamako and Koutiala.

Thanks to this loan, Issifou is expecting average monthly profits to reach 90,000 CFA francs. He will use these profits to pay his loan's interest, and will invest the rest of the money in his business.

Monsieur ISSIFOU est né vers 1969 à Gningoni, il est père de 5 enfants et vit dans sa famille nucléaire à Kadiolo (troisième région administrative de la république du Mali).
ISSIFOU mène cette activité de commercialisation de céréales depuis quatre ans. Son expérience dans ce domaine, lui a valu une bonne réputation et reçoit des commandes de céréales, notamment du maïs. Ainsi pour avoir les ressources nécessaires afin de satisfaire ses clients, il décida de collaborer avec l’Institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso. Il est à son cinquième prêt et tous les prêts passés ont été correctement remboursés.
Ce prêt lui permettra d’acheter, 2 tonnes de maïs et 1 tonne de mil. Il s’approvisionne dans les villages avoisinants Kadiolo. Les céréales sont stockées avant de les revendre au comptant à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes venant des grandes villes telles SIKASSO, BAMAKO ET KOUTIALA.
Avec ce prêt, il envisage réaliser un bénéfice mensuel moyen de 90 000 FCFA. Ce bénéfice lui permettra de payer les intérêts de son prêt et investir le reste dans son activité.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients.
