MAMADOU is 36 years old and lives with his children and his wives in the sub-prefecture of KOUROUBA, Region of KOULIKORO. He did not have the chance to go to school. Early on, he became interested in revenue-generating businesses, especially in the buying and selling of grains.

Concerned about satisfying his clearly growing customer base, he decided to collaborate with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso. After having correctly repaid the second loan, he is on this third individual loan, which will be used to purchase 4 tonnes of grains (corn, beans, millet, fonio) from peasant producers in and around DANGASSA. He will keep the grains for at least two months. Basically he makes his sales in bulk to a customer base composed of retailers from the big cities, such as Bamako or SANANKOROBA.

MAMADOU hopes to make an average monthly profit of 100,000 francs CFA that will be used for repaying the loan and reinvesting in business.
