Hussein is a 59-year-old Lebanese married man living with his wife and two children who are attending school. He has been working for a local company since 2008. He is the only source of income for his family. His wife is taking care of the house and the children as well. But Hussein’s income is not covering all their needs, especially his children’s educational fees. This is the reason he’s requesting a loan from Kiva's partner Ameen s.a.l. In this way, he will be able to pay his children's school fees. His only goal is to insure a good education for his children until graduation and avoid facing financial problems for the family. One of his greatest dreams is to see his children achieve good positions.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
