Ramla, 47, is a hardworking, unassuming, humble and above all very responsible person. She lives with her family in Msambweni. She sells fresh water from her home. This business helps her family meet household expenses and helps her pay for her children's schooling. At the moment, Ramla is the only one who is supplying water in the neighborhood. She is now requesting a loan to buy a water pump. This investment will allow Ramla to acquire more customers and thus a higher income. Her dream is to expand her business and increase sales.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
