Gloria's story

Gloria is 39 years old and is a very enthusiastic and friendly woman. She is married and has an 18 year old son. She lives with them, alongside her parents and brothers, each in their own home built on a large piece of land.

Gloria sells building materials, accessories, and other things. She has a space set aside in her home and has been doing this for ten years. She has used this time to become well known in the sector and her store is one of the best known. She works here every day and her earnings are encouraging.

What she enjoys about her work is that is allows her to pay her household expenses and her son’s tuition. He is her main inspiration for continuing to work. She also likes it because she doesn’t work with perishables, so she can stock up with no worries. She plans to expand her business with more items and open a new location, so she needs a loan to solidify her plans. She needs 2,000 PEN to buy merchandise for her hardware store, mainly water pipes and corrugated tin that her customers are requesting.
