Amina is a sociable, patient lady who likes helping other people. She’s divorced with no children. She lives in the rural area of the town of Msambweni.
She has a clothing selling business, having started it to be able to meet her household needs. Her income is not enough to provide for a good quality of life.
This will be her first loan through Yehu, and she will use it to buy bales of clothing for sale, now that the Christmas season is approaching. She wants to take advantage of the season and generate a good income through her sales. This will allow her to improve her quality of life.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
