The communal bank Nuevo Amanecer (New Dawn) is formed by 10 members who live in the Zhidmad parish of Cuenca, a place that is surrounded by nature. Its people are warm and kind. They work in agriculture and raising animals, and they also work in the city in a variety of economic activities, always with one goal, which is improving the economies of their households and getting their families ahead. They still keep alive their cultures and traditions which were once instilled in them.

One of the members of this group is Señora Rosa Lastenia. She has been part of the communal bank Nuevo Amanecer for 10 years. She is 32 years old. She is married and from this union has conceived 4 children, ages 12, 9, 6, and 3. Her oldest daughter is studying in secondary school and two of her children attend a little city school. Her husband works as a cook in a restaurant in the city. The house in which they live is the reward for their work as a couple.

Señora Rosa Lastenia spends the greater part of her time in her home, which she raises pigs and chickens. She also works in agriculture, and what she harvests is for consumption in her home. For some years she has worked as a domestic employee, and she works only on the days when she is called.

She is going to invest her new loan in the purchase of pigs and food for her animals.

Her goal is to have a store in her house.

El banco comunal Nuevo Amanecer se encuentra esta formado por 10 socias que viven por la parroquia de Zhidmad en Cuenca, lugar que se encuentra rodeado de naturaleza, su gente es cálida y amable, trabajan en la agricultura, crianza de animales y también laboran en la ciudad en diferentes actividades económicas, siempre con una meta que es mejorar la economía de sus hogares y sacar adelante a sus familias. Aun mantienen viva su cultura y tradiciones que algún día les inculcaron.

Una de las socias de este grupo es la señora Rosa Lastenia, forma parte del banco comunal Nuevo Amanecer hace 10 años, tiene 32 años de edad, es casada y en su unión conyugal ha concebido 4 hijos de 12, 9, 6 y 3 años de edad, su primera hija está estudiando en el colegio y dos de sus hijos estudian en una escuelita de la ciudad. Su esposo trabaja como cocinero en un restaurante de la ciudad, la casa en la que viven es la recompensa del trabajo conyugal.

La Señora Rosa Lastenia pasa la mayor parte de su tiempo pasa en casa en donde cría cerdos y gallinas, también se dedica a la agricultura y lo que cosecha es para el consumo de su hogar. Hace algunos años trabaja como empleada domestica y labora solo días que le llaman.

Su nuevo crédito lo va a invertir en la compra de cerdos y alimento para sus animales.

Su meta es tener una tienda en su casa.
