Lan was born in 1960. She has four children who are married. Her husband is a car driver in the agricultural industry. Lan is a carpenter, as are her children. She earns 2,500,000 VND a month. Her family’s total earnings are about 3,000,000 VND per month. Lan has participated in SEDA's credit program since 2009. In the last cycle she borrowed 8,736,000 VND and repaid the loan on time. In this loan cycle, she would like to borrow 9,632,000 VND to buy wood and a wood planer for her carpentry business. Her dream is to enlarge her carpentry workshop.
