Claudia is a young 20-year-old woman who lives with her husband and her small 3-year-old child in the city of Cañete, in the district of Imperial. She loves her child and he is her reason for living. She is a very friendly, hardworking, and enthusiastic person who, together with her husband, uses all of her effort to get her family ahead. Unfortunately, Claudia was not able to study toward a professional career. Since she was very young she had to work to cover expenses, but she would have liked to have studied.

Through her own initiative, and with a lot of effort and dedication, Claudia has worked in her little business for more than a year selling food. She sells a variety of Chinese dishes. She is a very good cook and has the help of her husband who helps with the business. Claudia works everyday, approximately 8 hours. She feels good doing her work and she believes that is going well die to her good seasoning and because she treats her customers well.

Claudia is very grateful to the Kiva lenders because thanks to the help offered she will be able to carry out improvements to her storefront windows. She has increased her clientele and she needs to expand her store front as well as buy chairs and tables to improve it. In this way she will continue to work with great effort in to be able to achieve her greatest dream which is to have her own storefront. In the not to distant future she hopes to be able to see her little one become a great professional.

Claudia es una joven de 20 años, vive en la ciudad de Cañete, en el distrito de Imperial con su esposo y su pequeño hijo de 3 años, a quien ama y es su principal razón en la vida, ella es una persona muy amable, trabajadora y entusiasta, que junto con su esposo dedican todos sus esfuerzos por sacar adelante a su familia; lamentablemente Claudia no pudo estudiar una carrera profesional, ya que desde muy joven tuvo que trabajar para solventar sus gastos, pero le hubiera gustado mucho poder hacerlo.
Por iniciativa propia, con mucho empeño y dedicación, desde hace más de un año Claudia trabaja en su pequeño negocio de venta de comida, ella vende diversos platos de comida china, ella es muy buena cocina y cuenta con el apoyo de su esposo, quien le ayuda en su negocio, Claudia trabaja todos los días por un aproximado de 8 horas, ella se siente a gusto realizando su labor y cree que le va bien por su buena sazón y por el trato amable que brinda a sus clientes.
Claudia se encuentra muy agradecida con los prestamistas Kiva, ya que gracias a la ayuda brindada podrá realizar el mejoramiento de su local de ventas, ya que ha aumentado su clientela y necesita ampliar su local, así también comprará algunas sillas y mesas para acondicionar su local, de esta manera ella seguirá trabajado y esforzándose para lograr su gran sueño de tener su local propio y en un futuro no muy lejano desea poder ver a su pequeño convertido en un buen profesional.
