Mwanasiti, 26, is the mother of two young children. She lives with her husband and children in the rural area of Samburu where charcoal selling is the most popular activity.
Six months ago she decided to start selling charcoal from her home. She sells to the neighborhood.
Aiming at widening her stock of merchandise, Mwanasiti has requested a 20,000 KES loan. She believes that with financial help she’ll attain business growth that will lead to an improvement in the quality of her family life
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
