Ndegwa is 38 years old. He is married, has five children, and lives with his family in Samburu, Coast province. Ndegwa describes himself as a hard-working and honest person.
Ndegwa works with his wife in their store. He has been working since he was a young boy with the help of his parents. This has made him very responsible towards his family. In addition to this, he owns a motorcycle for transport services. He will use this current loan to stock his store with food and other products so that he can increase his sales. He has customers who are requesting certain products from him that he doesn't have. This investment is very important because it will enable him to improve his income.
Ndegwa's dream is to be able to increase his business and watch his children grow up well with a good education.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
