Gilsom is a 30 year old married man with two children living in Kyenjojo, Uganda. His main business is buying and selling locally made alcohol from bananas. He also deals in produce like beans and maize. He started the business after accessing its lucrative nature and ready market. With the proceeds he has been able to pay school fees for his children and renovate his semi-permanent house.
His major challenges are inadequate capital to meet the high demand and price fluctuations. His dream is to process it so as to add value and increase on the profits. Gilsom intends to use the loan to buy alcohol to sell.
