Ngaet is 64 years old. She is widowed and lives with her two children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been selling cakes for more than 10 years, earning approximately $2 daily. Her children are employed in the garment factory. They earn about $10 each day.
Due to difficulties with her family’s transportation needs, Ngaet is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase would enable her to use the money that she saves on her transportation expenses to support the family. In the future, she would like to run an additional business and rebuild her house to make it more comfortable for her family.
