Khom is 27 years old. She is married and lives with her two children in Kampot Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in growing rice and fattening up animals for more than eight years, earning approximately $6 daily. Her husband is a motor taxi driver who earns about $8 per day.
Khom is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase cattle to use for farming. This purchase will help Khom obtain enough physical resources to cultivate her crops. In the future, she would like to run a grocery store and help her children earn bachelors' degrees. Moreover, Khom hopes to rebuild her house to provide better living conditions for her family.
