This Kiva loan will be used to provide borrowers with needed goods or services, as opposed to cash or financial credit. These loans have terms ranging from five to ten years and include an upfront fee of 2.5% and an annual interest rate of 5%. They are disbursed at the start of the school year and are repaid monthly with a grace period of two to three years.
