Karen es miembro del Grupo Solidario Rio Claro, tiene 27 años de edad, es casada y tiene 2 hijos, su esposo trabaja en la agricultura, ella se dedica a la venta de ropa de segunda mano, cosméticos y también se dedica a la costura, oficio que aprendió cuando saco un curso de corte y confección, por lo que ella pensó en comprar un fardo ya que sale ropa en mal estado entonces ella la repara. Karen sale a vender su mercadería a diferentes comunidades, trabaja en conjunto con su esposo y lo hacen de forma ambulante. La única dificultad que presenta es la zona donde vive ya que esta expuesta a la inseguridad. Ella solicita este préstamo para comprar un fardo de ropa usada y así surtir su negocio de estilos actuales y acordes a la temporada, además de comprar cosméticos para vender. Con el apoyo de este préstamo podrá llamar la atención de más clientes y seguirá teniendo una actividad económica que le permita cubrir los gastos para la manutención de su familia. Su sueño es establecer su negocio en su casa tener un local propio e instalar una academia para enseñar costura. Karen recibirá su primer financiamiento en FAMA y espera cumplir puntualmente con el pago de sus cuotas.
