DIEU EST GRAND is a group of three people, whose members live in the same neighborhood. The group leader, Jeanne, is 31 years old and married to a Paul. The couple has four children, some of whom attend school, and all for whom they are responsible. Jeanne and her husband live together with their children and assume different responsibilities in their home. For almost 16 years, Jeanne has been selling from home miscellaneous products and grains (corn and cassava root flour). Jeanne runs this business with passion, which allows her to meet the needs of her children and herself. Jeanne stocks up at the market in Bénin. In the quest to satisfy her clientele, Jeanne is seeking with the other members of the DIEU EST GRAND group, her first loan with ALIDé. This loan will help her better meet the needs of her clientele and increase her profits.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late.
