She will use this new loan to buy a knitting machine. Currently, her biggest problem is the economic crisis.

La cliente Kavira est secrétaire du groupe Jipe Moyo. Elle est jeune entrepreneur âgée de 23 et mère de 4 enfants. Son conjoint est un chauffeur taxi man. Elle est vendeuse de friperie. Elle fait aussi la broderie et la tricoteuse et parfois elle réalise le commerce de denrées alimentaires. Elle commença avec le crédit de base de l’IMF Hekima. Ainsi, elle vient de réaliser 2 cycles dans ce programme. Ce nouveau prêt lui servira d’acheter une machine tricoteuse. Actuellement, son défi majeur est la mévente. HEKIMA is a microfinance institution headquartered in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), with branch offices in Goma and Bukavu. HEKIMA aims to contribute to the transformation of the economic, social, and spiritual lives of the economically active poor of the DRC. To this end, HEKIMA provides its clients with solidarity group loans to support income-generating activities. Despite ongoing instability and violence in its operating areas, HEKIMA continues to keep its doors open and provide credit and savings services for its over 90% female clientele.
