Dato's story

Dato is from Abasha district of West Georgia. He is 41 years old and lives with his wife, their 20-year-old son, and his sister. His son works as an artisan locally and gets a monthly income. The family is involved in agricultural business. In particular, Dato runs a small dairy farm of five milk cows, whose milk is used in cheese products. The family sells, on average, 40 kg of cheese per month. In addition, Dato owns two pigs and sells piglets seasonally. He grows maize and nuts on the family-owned land, as well. Part of the harvested products are sold, and the rest is used for family needs.

Besides his agricultural activities, Dato works as an auto mechanic to earn monthly income. He requested a loan to purchase building materials, so he will be able to build a motor garage. After the building is built, Dato will be able to serve the local drivers, regardless of the weather conditions. He will be able to increase the family's income and improve the living conditions for his family.
