Le groupement DJROMAHUTON est formé de quinze personnes qui habitent dans le même quartier. La représentante de ce groupe, nommée Ayaba Jeannette, âgée de 44 ans, est celle dont la main est levée sur la photo, elle est mariée à un certain Gualbert. Le couple a quatre enfants, tous scolarisés et à leur charge. Ayaba Jeannette, et son mari vivent ensemble avec leurs enfants et assurent ensemble les différentes charges de la maison. Ayaba Jeannette a fréquenté l’école jusqu’au niveau secondaire. Il y a près de vingt ans que Ayaba Jeannette exerce comme activité, la vente des produits divers à son domicile ; ce qui lui permet de répondre sans grande difficulté aux besoins de sa famille. Ayaba Jeannette s'approvisionne dans un marché du Bénin. Dans le souci de mieux répondre aux exigences de sa clientèle, Ayaba Jeannette désire renforcer son activité. Pour ce faire, Ayaba Jeannette sollicite, ensemble avec les autres membres du groupement DJROMAHUTON, un premier crédit auprès de ALIDé.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000.
