Prossy lives in Kampala, Uganda. She is married with three children, all of whom attend school. She is looking after her siblings and old parents.
She has been selling bunches of green bananas from her home at retail for six years, working six days a week. She also sells cold drinks and charcoal for extra income.
She has requested a loan of UShs 500,000 from MCDT- SACCO to be able to stock more bunches of green bananas for sale. Her challenges include transportation. Her dream is to expand her business. She joined MCDT because she had little capital to support the business. She rents a house with access to electricity and no piped water. Her major monthly expenses include paying rent and school fees.
