The Jesukpego Group is made up of three people who live in the same neighborhood. The group's leader, Marcelline, is 40 years old. The couple [she and her husband] have two children, both in school and one of whom remains in their care. Marcelline and her husband live together with their children and, together, see to the various household expenses.

Marcelline did not attend school. She has been selling foodstuffs from her home for nearly eight years. Marcelline undertakes her business with passion, which allows her to meet her needs and those of her children. She gets her supplies in the regions of Benin.

With the goal of customer satisfaction, Marcelline, along with the other members of the Jesukpego Group, is seeking a fifth loan from Alidé. This loan will allow them to better meet customer demand and to make more of a profit. The preceding loans have been properly repaid.

JESUKPEGO est un groupe de trois personnes, dont les membres résident dans le même quartier. La représentante du groupe, Marcelline est âgée de 40 ans. Le couple a deux enfants tous scolarisés dont un reste à leur charge. Marcelline et son mari vivent ensemble avec leurs enfants et assurent ensemble les différentes charges de la maison. Marcelline n’a pas fréquenté l’école. Il y a près de huit ans que Marcelline vend des produits vivriers son domicile. Marcelline exerce cette activité passionnément, ce qui lui permet de subvenir à ses besoins et à ceux de ses enfants. Marcelline s’approvisionne dans des régions du Bénin. Dans la quête de la satisfaction de sa clientèle, Marcelline sollicite ensemble avec les autres membres du groupe JESUKPEGO, un cinquième crédit auprès de ALIDé. Ce crédit leur servira à mieux répondre aux demandes de leur clientèle et à se faire plus de profits. Les prêts antérieurs reçus ont été bien remboursés.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients.
