Afin d’assurer les diverses charges de la famille, Hontongnon Séverin mène comme activité depuis une vingtaine d'années, l’agriculture dans une région du Bénin. Secondairement à cette activité, Hontongnon Séverin fait la transformation des noix de palme et la vente d’huile de palme. Hontongnon Séverin s’approvisionne dans une région du Bénin. Dans la quête de la satisfaction de sa clientèle et pour accroître son chiffre d’affaires et son revenu, Hontongnon Séverin sollicite pour la quatrième fois, un crédit auprès de ALIDé. Ce prêt lui permettra certainement de rehausser le niveau de son activité tout en s'approvisionnant en noix de palme en vue de satisfaire sa clientèle et d’avoir plus de profits.
