Nyiro has been involved in a small retail business for the past six years. She is 42 years old, married and she has six children.
She sells greens, fruits and vegetables. She works alone in this business. Beside the income she makes from her business, she also receives contributions from her husband. She aims at opening a tailoring business sometime. She is currently asking for a loan to buy tomatoes, onions, carrots, etc.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
