José Erasmo
José, 41, is married and has two children. He’s been fishing for ten years having learned from some friends who invited him to go to sea with them fishing. He used to work in agriculture and construction. He states that need has led him to learn many things in order to earn his livelihood and support his family. This is how José started out in this activity and seeing that it produced good income with much effort he bought a boat and a used outboard motor. He heads out to sea for two days of fishing to bring in product.

The loan he’s asking from Fundación Campo is to repair the boat’s motor because it’s shut down and will not start up again. Without a motor in perfect condition he’s unable to go out fishing and this is his source of income to support his family. His wish is to buy a new motor and new fishing equipment, to build his house because where he lives now isn’t his and that his children to go school and prepare themselves for life.
