Mwanasiti is a mother who is very responsible and dedicated to her home, with a great desire to improve in life. She lives in her own house with her husband and two children. Mwanasiti works hard selling coconuts in the market, as she has for three years, growing her sales little by little. Because her supply needs are now greater, she is requesting a loan from Yehu, with which she can buy a greater quantity of coconuts wholesale at lower prices and thus make better profits. Mwanasiti has high hopes for this loan, and she expects great improvement.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
