A loan of $350 helped to purchase sand and cement to plaster his house.

José Alberto's story

Matagalpa, the pearl of the north, is a beautiful city located in the north of Nicaragua that is important for its large coffee production. José Alberto is a native of Matagalpa. He is married and has three school-aged sons.

José Alberto is known as being a respectful person who is responsible with regard to his obligations and a very hard worker. He currently works for a company as a brick layer. His income from the company is used for basic grocery needs and some household expenses. He wants and needs to make improvements to his house, but his salary isn't enough to cover the costs. And that is the reason he is taking out the loan. He plans to use it to purchase sand and cement to plaster his entire house.

"I am happy with and grateful for this loan from Ceprodel and Kiva. It is helping me," don José expressed. It will enable him to carry out the improvements.
