Elmelder is 32 years old and has had a retail shop in Nakuru for seven years now. She is the single mother of two children.
This is her second loan term and she plans to use it to buy more stocks of maize flour, rice, sugar and milk to sell in her business. She will use the anticipated income to buy more goods, as well as pay school fees for her children.
She hopes to grow her business and open a wholesale shop.
