Savorn, 35 years old, is married and lives with three children in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. For more than three years, she has been running a business which has acquired the exclusive right to provide already-mixed concrete. Savorn earns approximately $50 daily and her husband helps her run the business. Due to lack of funds, Savorn is requesting a loan of $1,000 to pay her workers' salaries. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees.
