Elizabeth is a 30-year-old woman and mother of two young children. She lives with her family in the rural area of Tiribe in the coastal region of Kenya.
For the past five years, Elizabeth has run a retail shop in her home, serving the neighborhood. Her goal is move forward in life, but her main challenges are the high prices of commodities and the lack of enough capital to invest in her business.
She is, however, optimistic, and she is sure that this investment from the loan she is currently asking will help her grow her business. She plans to buy bales of flour, rice, sugar, and beans.
